Today's lunch consisted of a sweet onion stuffed falafel burger at World Street Kitchen's restaurant at 28th and Lyndale. It's a thick, tasty burger, complemented with a big, soft bun.

Hot Indian Food Truck

I'm pleased to add another vegan-friendly food truck to my list of lunchtime favorites. Hot Indian serves indurritos (Indian burritos). The channa is a really tasty vegan option, with some kind of great mix of sweet and spicy. Find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Midtown Bike Center

On today's bike ride I stopped by the Midtown Bike Center for a vegan strawberry, orange, apricot, almond bar. It was delicious!

Seward Cafe

As many of you are undoubtedly aware, the Seward Cafe is now open for dinner. My initial choice from their dinner menu:  Seward's Torta.  Order it with tofu instead of egg.  Good stuff.

Simply Steve's Food Truck

I discovered another vegan option at a food truck on the streets of downtown Minneapolis. The grilled portabella sandwich as Simply Steve's is worth checking out. Based on a quick scan of their Facebook page, it looks like the menu might change regularly. 

Kitty Corner Cafe

Get yourself over to the Kitty Corner Cafe in Stadium Village and order the "Vegan Love" waffle!

The Lowbrow

Checked out The Lowbrow for the first time. I really like the fried tofu sandwich. While there aren't many vegan items on the menu, I appreciate that they clearly identify the vegan items (one entree, one "snack" and one salad on the lunch/dinner menu). Recommended!
