Really liked a curried lentil and mushroom dish at Marin, located in downtown Minneapolis. At the moment, their online menu is not updated. They have retained one vegan entree and several clearly-labeled vegan sides and small plates.

Finally tried Parkway Pizza in Minneapolis' Longfellow area for the first time. Another pizza place with Daiya vegan cheese!

Agra Culture Kitchen & Press

I've made two trips to Agra Culture Kitchen & Press, which opened recently in the 50th & France area. With an Agra Plate, you can choose a protein, sauces and sides. On my first visit I went with the vegan chick'n with Sriracha and seasonal hash. On the second visit I chose the seared tofu with spicy miso and brown "unfried" rice. Both were excellent! The in-store menu is very clear about which items are vegan. And the refillable natural sodas are a bonus. Also open in Uptown. I'll be a frequent customer.

Pizza Luce Richfield

Had a great Father's Day brunch at Pizza Luce in Richfield, trying the veganized Huevos Luceros, which includes corn tortillas with spinach, quinoa, black beans, avocado, and tofu. It's excellent!

The Bulldog Northeast

I finally made it to The Bulldog NE. Upon arrival, we were asked whether we'd like to see the vegetarian menu. Yeah, we would like to see that particular menu! There are four vegan burgers on the menu, among other veg items, and I opted for the one called the Original. It includes "bacon" mayo, fried mushrooms, tomato, onions, and lettuce on grilled focaccia. After one visit, I'd definitely rank this place among the top vegan bar food joints in Minneapolis.

Mesa Pizza Uptown

After enjoying a veggie-filled vegan slice at Mesa Pizza's Uptown location, I went home to discover that my family had picked up a donut for me at Glam Doll. Yeah!
