Fantastic weekend brunch at Hark! Cafe.  Potatoes & Mushrooms Mornay. Tofu scramble. A waffle. Oatmeal vanilla cream sandwich and a cinnamon roll.  So good. (Just to be clear, this was all shared by two of us.)

Checked out the new vegan chorizo at Chipotle. Pretty good! 

Seed Cafe

Enjoyed the Classic Breakfast Sandwich at Seed Cafe.  And a cookie for breakfast as well.  😊

Francis

Francis is a vegan burger place that just opened this week, with a spot at Sociable Cider Werks in Northeast Minneapolis. I ordered the Mosh Pit Loaded Fries, which are great! Check it out! 

Herbie Butcher’s Fried Chicken

Finally made it to the 100% vegan Herbie Butcher’s Fried Chicken and I thought it was pretty amazing! 

Hark! Cafe

The Romesco Bowl is new at Hark! Cafe and it’s super delicious. I also treated myself to a rhubarb pop tart. So good! 

Sweet Science Ice Cream

Sweet Science Ice Cream has opened a shop at 50th & France. They clearly identify their vegan options. I ordered the vegan chocolate chip and it was delicious!

   

Coconut Whisk

My first time visiting Coconut Whisk, one of the two new 100% vegan and gluten-free cafès in downtown Minneapolis. I had the Cloudberry Mini Pancakes. Yum!

Grand opening weekend at Hark! The sweet and savory waffle sandwich includes sausage with melted cheese along with syrup and apple butter. Fold it up into a sandwich if that’s your preferred method. This is really tasty! All vegan and all gluten free.  

Stalk & Spade
