Hurry for discounted vegan books at Borders

As you've likely read, Borders has filed for bankruptcy. They'll be closing nearly half of their stores nationwide, including four of their seven Twin Cities-area stores (Richfield, Minnetonka, Maple Grove, St. Paul). For you, a book-loving vegan, that means clearance sales! I stoppped into the Richfield (494 & Lyndale) location yesterday. There are a couple of shelves of vegan and vegetarian books and cookbooks. Everything in the store is discounted at least 20 percent right now. They'll certainly have bigger discounts in the coming weeks, but with a diminished selection. In addition to the cooking section, check-out the general "diet" section for the Skinny Bitch books by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin.

This is only my fourth blog post and it is the second one that includes a photo of books on a shelf.  Fascinating photography on this blog, I tell ya!
